Privacy Policy

To make your decks work, we keep the bare minimum: your email address (used as your login), the name you sign up with, the decks and cards you create, and your review history (ratings, due dates, timestamps). This data is yours — you can export or delete it at any time from your account.

claria uses passwordless authentication. We send a one-time magic link to your email; nothing resembling a password is ever stored. The link expires shortly after it is issued and can only be used once.

Card generation and inline assists run on claria's server using our own AI provider keys — you never need to bring your own. To generate cards we send the topic, notes or PDF you provide to the AI provider, and the result is saved to your deck. We do not use your card content to train any model, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

If you upgrade to Pro, payment is handled by Stripe. claria never sees or stores your full card number — Stripe returns us a tokenized reference, your subscription status, and the email associated with the charge so we can link it to your account.

We set a single first-party session cookie so you stay signed in between requests. No tracking or advertising cookies are used. Analytics, if added in the future, will be privacy-preserving and optional.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account removes your decks, cards, review history and AI usage log, typically within 30 days. Backups may persist a short while longer as they age out of rotation.

You can access, export or delete your data at any time from within claria. If something looks incorrect or you want a full export, email us at hello@claria.app.
